Afterschool Care
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM - "BEYOND THE BELL"

Lawton Street’s Beyond the Bell program is for students K-6th grade. Students will have time to work on their homework and will receive a snack. After homework time and snack, there will be a mix of planned activities and free time until pick up.
Monday Through Friday 2:30 - 6:00 PM
In-Person Registration
Fee: $225 per semester; or $450 per school year.
Basketball
TINY TOT BASKETBALL
The City of Akron Tiny Tot Basketball program at Lawton Street Community Center provides the opportunity for young athletes at the recreational level to improve their basketball knowledge and skill set while working side by side with experienced city of Akron staff. The themes we stress are teamwork, creating a safe learning environment for all participants, accountability, and sportsmanship.

YOUTH CO-ED BASKETBALL
The City of Akron Youth Basketball program has partnered with the Jr. Cavs to offer boys and girls of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to learn what it takes to win both on and off the court.

These events are sponsored/co-sponsored by the City of Akron Recreation & Parks division. We are excited to be a part of these fun programs and events for everyone in the community to enjoy.
A three-week FREE concert series performed by popular local bands. Concerts are held on Mondays from 7:00–9:00PM. Grab your lawn chair, bring a picnic and get out to enjoy the fresh air and music.

Our summer camps are serious business....seriously FUN! Whatever your summer needs are, we have options. Whether it is our weekly theme camps or our 8-week summer long camp, check out all the possibilities.
Lawton Street Community Center offers an 8-week long summer camp beginning in June and running through August.
Registration for summer camps opens April 1.
