CAD Standards
The Akron Engineering Bureau (AEB) is dedicated to producing professional project documentation in the most cost-effective manner. To accomplish this, the AEB has developed and adhered to a set of CAD standards.
These standards pertain to the production and submittal of electronic project CAD files to the AEB from both internal and external sources. They will enable the production of clear, complete, consistent and accurate sets of plans. All standards are to be implemented unless otherwise stated as it is understood that each project presents different situations.
It is important to note that these standards are constantly being revised and updated to keep up with the changing technology and construction methodologies. It is the user's responsibility to verify using the most current information available on this web page.
