Akron Trick or Treat Night is set for Saturday, October 27th

The City encourages more treats, less tricks

The City of Akron’s annual celebration of Halloween will take place on Saturday, October 27, 2018. City of Akron residents who wish to participate in “Trick or Treat Night” may show their support by turning on their porch lights between the hours of 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. that evening.  Akron police patrols will pay special attention to children and families walking city neighborhoods to promote a safe and successful celebration for all.

In 2008, Akron City Council officially declared the last Saturday in October from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. as “Trick or Treat Night” in the City of Akron.
