City of Akron and Mustard Seed Market Announce Square Fest 2014

            Akron, Ohio (August 14, 2014) - Square Fest 2014, presented by Mustard Seed Market and the City of Akron, will once again showcase the diverse neighborhood of Highland Square in Akron. The popular event will take place on Saturday September 6, 2014 in the heart of Highland Square on West Market Street between Portage Path and Casterton Avenue from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and an After-Party from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

        Square Fest is a family friendly event featuring live local entertainment on 3 stages, over 90 exhibitors including artists, community organizations, and neighborhood businesses. Other features include street performers, a contest for Akron’s best pizza sponsored by the West Akron and North Akron Kiwanis clubs with up to 20 pizza vendors, and a large interactive children’s area including make-and-take crafts.  Admission is free.  Street parking will be available nearby or patrons can park at the American Red Cross building (501 W. Market Street) or at Akron First Assembly (1175 W. Market Street) and ride the trolley to the event site.  For a complete listing of bands and event schedule visit
