Published: 10-05-2017

Akron, Ohio, October 5, 2017The City of Akron will be constructing new sidewalk along the east side of Brittain Road, between Tallmadge Avenue and Independence Avenue.  Construction is expected to occur in 2018.

“There is significant pedestrian traffic in this corridor; however, the majority of this section does not currently include sidewalk,” John Moore, Director of Public Service, said. “This project will provide easier pedestrian access to various points along the east side of the road, and will better connect the residential streets to the businesses in this area.”
