Akron, Ohio, February 10, 2020 All municipal offices will be closed on Monday, February 17, 2020 in observance of Washington’s Birthday / Presidents’ Day.

Curb service will not be delayed as a result of this holiday and will run on its normal schedule, Monday through Friday.

“Each of our Commanders-in-Chiefs has left their mark on our country in undeniable ways,” said Mayor Daniel Horrigan. “Presidents’ Day is our opportunity to honor and reflect on the achievements of these leaders. We celebrate the courage, contributions, and convictions of these national statesmen.”
