Akron, Ohio, May 25, 2022 — All City of Akron municipal offices will be closed for business on Monday, May 30, 2022 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.

There will be no curb service on Monday, May 30. There will be a one-day delay of trash/recycle collections for the remainder of the week, with curb service resuming on Tuesday, May 31. “As we celebrate Memorial Day, we are reminded that our community and our nation owe these fallen men and women a debt that can never be repaid. May we all take time to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms,” said Mayor Dan Horrigan.
