The tournament has been held at Firestone Stadium since 2008, with attendance averaging about 10,000 for the three-day event.

Semifinal games started Thursday, June 5, and continue Friday, with game times at 10:00am, 12:30pm, 3:00pm, and 5:30pm.

The State Tournament Girls Softball Finals will be Saturday, June 7th with games at 10:00am, 1:00pm, 4:00pm, and 7:00pm.

Admission of $8 enables fans to attend a two game session.

The City of Akron acquired Firestone stadium from the rubber company that shares its founder’s name, and upgraded the historic sports venue to create a home for Akron’s professional women’s softball team, the Akron Racers, in 1997.
