Deadline to Register for the City of Akron's 82nd Good Park Junior Golf Tournament is Saturday July 3

Akron, Ohio, July 1, 2021 — The City of Akron Good Park Golf Course invites all junior golfers, 18 years old and younger, to register for its 82nd Junior Golf Tournament, being held July 7-9 at Good Park Golf Course. Registration deadline is this Saturday, July 3.
“The Junior Tournament at Good Park is a beloved tradition in the Akron community and we are pleased to host the event again this year,” Mayor Dan Horrigan said of the event.
The first day’s play will qualify each player into a flight, which then becomes a two-day medal play tournament. Boys and girls will participate in their own flights, as will kids under 12 years of age. The entry fee is $65 and provides each player with three days of golf, prizes and lunch each day of competition. The winner of each flight will receive a trophy at the end of the tournament.
Entry forms are available at www.golfakroncity.com or in person at Good Park Golf Course, 530 Nome Avenue. The registration fee is due at the time of entry and can be paid in cash or by check made payable to Good Park Junior. (Credit card payments are not accepted.) Entry forms can be dropped off between 6am-8:00pm.
Starting times will be published at golfakroncity.com before the tournament. No caddies or spectators are permitted on the course.
