
MAYOR'S BLUE RIBBON TASK FORCE TO DELIVER RECOMMENDATIONS FEB 1

Akron, Ohio, January 29, 2016 – Mayor Dan Horrigan will receive recommendations on improving the city’s financial health, economy, leadership diversity and quality of life from his appointed Blue Ribbon Task Force at Noon, Monday, February 1 at Greystone Hall, 2nd floor. Greystone Hall is located at 103 S. High Street in downtown Akron.
Tim Ochsenhirt led the charge with the following volunteer members: Dan Colantone, Mark Douglas, Rev. Ronald J. Fowler, Randy Frame, David James, Ravi Krovi, Amanda Leffler, Scott Levin, Christine Mayer, Brian Nelson, Linda Omobien, Michael Rickman, and Grace Wakulchik.
Thomas Chema, chairman and founder of the Gateway Group served as a consultant to the task force. Mayor Horrigan formed the group to follow his campaign promise to review and evaluate the City.
