Afterschool Programs
AFTERSCHOOL CARE
Mason Park After School Program is for students at Mason CLC. Mason Park Staff will pick up kids at 2:30 PM. Students will receive a meal from Children’s Hunger Alliance.
The program runs from 2:30 PM and students must be picked up no later than 5:30 PM.
Basketball
YOUTH CO-ED BASKETBALL
The City of Akron Youth Basketball program has partnered with the Jr. Cavs to offer boys and girls of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to learn what it takes to win both on and off the court.

Community Activities & Events
These events are sponsored/co-sponsored by the City of Akron Recreation & Parks division. We are excited to be a part of these fun programs and events for everyone in the community to enjoy.
KIDS NIGHT OUT (KNO)
On the first Friday of each month, KNO takes place for children ages 7-13 years old. Parents can drop their kids off at Mason Park as early as 4:30 PM, the program runs from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Kids will be able to enjoy 3 hours of playing, arts & crafts, games and other activities, as well as a movie for the night. Typically, there is pizza, beverages and snacks served. Cost is $5 per child. Pre-registration is required on RecDesk.
Other Center Activities
We proudly partner with local organizations & groups to allow more activities to take place in our centers. Even though we would like to think we are experts in all things recreation, sometimes it's better to bring in a specialist.

Summer Fun Camp
Ages 8 - 13
Are you looking for something fun for your child all summer long? Then join the Summer Fun Camp at Mason Park! This 8-week camp will run Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM and will include breakfast and lunch, a t-shirt, field trips, and lots of activities! Registration will be available through AkronRecDesk
