Human Resources Commission
The Human Resources Commission is governed by Akron City Charter Section 103 and is responsible for the development and interpretation of the Human Resources Commission Administrative Rules. The Commission consists of (3) three Commissioners who are appointed by the mayor, with the consent of City Council, and serve three-year staggered terms. Commissioners hear disciplinary appeals.
