City of Akron Offices Closed December 26th and January 2nd in Observance of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day

Akron, Ohio, December 21, 2016 – All municipal offices will be closed on Monday, December 26, 2016 in observance of Christmas Day and Monday, January 2, 2017 in observance of New Year’s Day. 

There will be no curb service on Monday, December 26th.  There will be a one-day delay of trash/recycle collections for the remainder of the week, with curb service resuming on Tuesday, December 27th and continuing through Saturday, December 31st.  

There will also be no curb service on Monday, January 2nd.  There will be a one-day delay of trash/recycle collections for the remainder of the week, with curb service resuming on Tuesday, January 3rd and continuing through Saturday, January 7th.
